Firefox 4 Beta Favourite Manga None	Okay, uhm, just watched the first episode Goten appears in in DBZ, and in that episode he's around 8 or so I guess, and Gohan is around 15 or 16, though it might be older. Goku's dead. He's been dead for...4 or 5 years as he died when Gohan was 11. How does Goten exist?

I am still confused. Their ages, what are they? It'd help a lot.

It's weird that nobody mentions anything about Goku having another son during this time, but that's probably because Toriyama hadn't thought of even doing the Boo Arc yet... Trunks was born in Age 766. Goten was born in Age 767. For reference, Goku was born in Age 737 and Vegeta was born in Age 732. Edited by Pyrus, Aug 12 2010, 08:12 PM.

Goten is born in 767, but it doesn't specify when, so it most likely was after the Cell Games ended. I initially thought it meant he was born before since it lists him being born before the other events, but without a specific date. Sorry for the confusion.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Well i can clear this up. Goten is 7 years old, Trunks is 8. To put it bluntly... Goku and Chi-Chi had sex before the Cell Games. There's a strong possibility it was during the 10 days of peace. Or possibly before i geuss. Goten was born after Gohan defeated Cell. Goku died...but Chi- Chi still had the ..."Goods" that Goku left with her.

So we're to assume Goten was conceived sometime near the end of Goku's life, most likely during the 10 days of peace like DBZHybid said.

	darkwarrior has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it. Y2J Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****. ObsessiveFanGirl I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. Now, there's an idea.
